The second seminar in the series took place on the 25th September in Liverpool. Entitled ‘21st century welfare: Understanding the present’, the day provided an opportunity to explore how welfare is represented and understood in the present day. The seminar included presentations from a range of speakers, a welfare walk (led by Paul Jones, University of Liverpool), and a zine-making session led by Jean McEwan from Wur Bradford. You can listen again to all the presentations from the day, as well as opening comments and closing remarks from the series’ organisers, on our Soundcloud page.
Over the next week, we will be posting a selection of new blog posts from attendees and organisers reflecting on the day.
